What a great way to celebrate the 250th birthday of the greatest nation on earth — spending the morning with good friends, playing golf, and showing our patriotism in red, white, and blue at our LVGA Skins Game at Boulder Creek (Desert Hawk/Eldorado)!

We had players come out to celebrate America's birthday, and Mother Nature definitely did her part. We started the morning in the low 80s and finished around 11:30 AM with temperatures only reaching the mid-90s. For early July in Southern Nevada, that's about as good as it gets!

A special thank you to Karl Larcom at Boulder Creek for continuing to accommodate our LVGA members over the years. I've known Karl for a long time, dating back to when we used to play every week at Painted Desert. He's always been a genuinely good guy, a good friend, and someone who truly cares about golfers. We really appreciate everything he does for our group.

And speaking of Boulder Creek... the course was in absolutely immaculate condition. As Mike Brocki said this morning:

> "If it's not Boulder Creek, I wouldn't have driven 45 minutes all the way to Boulder City to play. This course is always in such amazing shape."

I couldn't agree more.

Happy 250th birthday to the greatest country on earth the United States of America!!!

As an immigrant who came to this country when I was young, I can honestly say that I wake up every day feeling grateful to live in the greatest nation on earth. The United States of America has given me opportunities, freedoms, and blessings that I could have only dreamed of as a child. I am living proof that in this country, if you're willing to work hard, stay faithful, and persevere through life's challenges, you can build a meaningful and successful life.

As we prepare to celebrate 250 years of American independence, I find myself reflecting on how blessed this nation truly is. I believe America is a promised land, established and blessed by God for His purposes. Throughout its history, this country has endured wars, division, trials, and countless attacks against the principles upon which it was founded. Yet time and time again, it has endured because of the faith, courage, sacrifice, and goodness of its people.

I know there are forces in this world that seek to weaken faith, family, freedom, and the values that have made this nation great. But I also believe that God will not abandon a people who continue to turn to Him in humility, righteousness, and gratitude. I have faith that He will continue to guide and bless this nation as long as there are faithful men and women willing to stand for truth and righteousness.

I am grateful for the generations of brave men and women who sacrificed so that people like me could have the opportunity to pursue the American dream. I love this country deeply. I cherish its freedoms, its principles, and the countless blessings it has provided my family and me.

God bless America. May we never take for granted the sacred freedoms we have been given, and may we always have the courage to defend, preserve, and honor this exceptional nation.

After sitting on display in my office for nearly two years, I’ve decided to bring my TaylorMade P7TW irons back into action for our game this Saturday. Hopefully, I can still do these beauties some justice!

For those who aren’t familiar with the P7TW irons, these are the signature irons designed with direct input from Tiger Woods himself. They’re forged blades built for precision, shot-making, and ultimate control—not exactly the most forgiving clubs in the world, which is probably why I’m a little nervous about putting them back in the bag!

I’ve always loved the classic look, feel, and craftsmanship of these irons, which is why they’ve been displayed in my office for so long. But golf clubs weren’t made to collect dust—they were made to be played.

Wish me luck this Saturday. I have a feeling I’ll either look like Tiger for a few holes… or be reminded exactly why these clubs have been sitting in my office for the past two years! 😂🏌️‍♂️

🎰⛳ LVGA RETURN TO CHIMERA!
Cool Weather, Hot Scores, and a Little Vegas Magic! ⛳🎰

After taking a break from Chimera Golf Club for a while, LVGA finally made our return today, and honestly, it felt like hitting a jackpot on the Strip.

First of all, Mother Nature decided to cut Las Vegas golfers a break for once. The weather was noticeably cooler, making for an absolutely perfect morning to chase a little white ball around the desert. Combined with the beautiful mountain views and the outstanding rate we received, today's round was worth every minute spent away from the casinos and air conditioning.

The greens were rolling really well, and while the fairways could be a little better, we're definitely not complaining. Considering the prime tee times and pricing that # # # # # # # # # and the Chimera team put together for us, our group left very happy. Ryan Burke, thank you again for taking great care of LVGA!

Now for my own Vegas-style roller coaster story...

My day started with what can only be described as a bad beat. My alarm clock apparently decided to hit the snooze button permanently, causing me to miss Hole #1 entirely and started on Hole #2. After rushing to the course, I finally got into the game and managed to make a double bogey on Hole #18. Not exactly what I had in mind.

But as every Vegas gambler knows, sometimes you just need one good hand to turn things around.

After finishing 18, I went back and played the hole that I missed—Hole #1—and somehow made birdie. Suddenly, I felt like I had gotten my money back.

On Hole #13, a par 4, where I experienced one of those moments that keeps us addicted to this crazy game. I holed out my second shot for an eagle!

I know it was not a hole-in-one. In fact, after playing golf for over 35 years, I still have never made nor even witnessed an ace. Pretty sad, honestly. But I have to admit, that eagle felt every bit like hitting a jackpot at Bellagio. For about five minutes, I was convinced I had become the greatest golfer in Las Vegas.

We had 16 players battling it out today for a prize pool of nearly $500, and once again, Dave Inman showed up and cleaned house like he owns the casino. Great playing, Dave!
