POV: Day In The Slush Life 👀✨⬇️
Slide 1 ➡️ one of my fave thing things is looking at our rope racks before they go home to their new owners 😭 They’re never the same and the mixing of colors always excite me. Some days it’s super vibrant, some days they’re super earthy!

Slide 3 ➡️ We had a 2nd batch yesterday and it was so cool to see the ropes line up that reminded me that“FALL SEASON IS COMING SOON” 😩🙌 I LOVE FALL SEASON SO MUCH!
Slide 4 ➡️ The other day, I felt very overwhelmed with life. When I get the chance to turn my brain off, I like to make a specific rope over and over again. The repition of the process is meditative, all which leads to my personal flow state that’s calming. Minimal thinking. Pure flow.
Slide 5 ➡️ Somewhere in Philly before we went back home after a weekend at Elements Music & Arts Festival
Slide 6 ➡️ what the duck! We spent so much of a short camping festival two weeks ago by sheltering in place due to@lightning and thunder. Puddles were everywhere so we people made the best out of it ✨
Slide 7 ➡️ While at Elements Music & Arts Festival , we found an interactive art installation where you stand in front of the camera and turns you into the visual character. It was so cool!
Slide 8 ➡️ Another fave art installation that I loved so much!
Slide 9 ➡️ A stranger letting me take a picture with their hat that I loved so much
Slide 10 ➡️ My art journey so far. Bought 2 beautiful pieces from an artist from Peru 🇵🇪 And recently, I’ve been enjoying this odd combo of watching a set while looking at art 😹 Oh yeah, checkout our dirty feet 😹 That’s what happens when you submit to the elements, you’re one blob of dust and dirt 😹
Slide 11 ➡️ After hours Buugeng flow at camp 🏕️ I love how this modality allows me to slow down my brain . It’s healing fam. Slow is smooth , Slush feels good 🫡

What To Expect from new Ropes ⬇️
✅ If you have a new flow rope and it is thinner or thicker than your “daily rope”, you will have an adjustment period.
✅ Going thinner or lighter: you will notice the rope going out of control , almost unstable especially when tricking. This is because you’re driving the rope with too much wrist or force. This comes from your brain remembering what works on your thicker rope. The adjustment you need is to do less wrist or force.
✅Going thicker or heavier: You will notice that your releases die faster. This is because the rope you were used to needed less wrist or force. The adjustment you have to do is to drive down harder.
✅ Get To Know Your New : Very highly underrated practice but recommend 1000%! Get to know your rope, spend some time and don’t expect a “copy and paste” experience.
Every rope swings unique to its frequency.
The way it ages affects the way it swings.
How it ages is depended on YOU.
Typically, the more wear it gets the more obvious what a specific rope does well. And YES - every flow rope can offer a specialty. 🫡
✅ Feedback Adjustment - With ANY new , you will have to adjust your feedback regardless of it being thinner or thicker. A huge influence in a different feedback that you might be accustomed to is the handles themselves. Some handles are bigger, while some are smaller. Neither is better than the other but comes down to what you prefer :)
