Today we celebrate not only another year of your life, but the incredible strength you’ve shown through a year that no child should ever have to endure.
This past year wasn’t easy to say the least as you continue to battle juvenile psoriatic arthritis and uveitis. You’ve faced things that have tested you in ways we never could have imagined. There have been hard days, painful days, scary days, and moments when we wished we could take it all away from you.
But through it all, you’ve taught us lessons we never knew we needed to learn.
You’ve taught us patience when we wanted answers immediately.
You’ve taught us courage when fear was all around us.
And you’ve taught us resilience by getting back up every time life knocked you down.
Watching you fight this past year has changed us forever. You’ve shown us what strength really looks like. Not because of your struggle, but because you continue to move forward even when it’s hard.
We are beyond proud of you. You are stronger than you know, braver than you realize, and loved more than words could ever explain.
Today, we don't focus on everything you've been through. We celebrate you. Your smile, your heart, your strength, and the little boy who continues to inspire everyone around you.
Keep fighting. Keep smiling. Keep being the amazing kid you are.
