We always have a great time at the Come to the Source Horse Sale, and this year was no different. It’s always good to see old friends and repeat buyers, and we enjoyed visiting with all the new faces too.

Good horses, good people, and a good weekend — we can’t ask for much more than that!

Last but most certainly not least is Dash For Wyo! 🩶

This is a really neat one for us. Dash For Wyo has such a unique pedigree, and it’s one we’ve been pretty excited to watch develop.

He is by Wyo Blue Chips, and out of Wyo Dash. His sire, Wyo Blue Chips, was a National/World Grand Champion Stallion and a proven performance horse, earning points in everything from ranch cutting and reining to working ranch horse, sorting and speed events. On the bottom side, his mother and both of his grandmothers were outstanding producers, which is something we really like about this cross.

He’s gentle, easy-going and one you can catch right out of the pasture. He’s been a good one to have around, and really another hard choice for us to let go.

🔥This dark grullo c**t is one you have to see in person. His color is really something special — dark, smoky, and only getting better every day.

He’s got the kind of conformation we’ve been striving for, for 28 years now, and he’s proven to be a good c**t to halter break and train. We love his mom, one of our young mares - Stone Cold Sue! She’s a looker too.

🐴A standout color, the conformation we’ve spent 28 years breeding toward, and a great mind to go with it.

Blue Streakin Boon is a really great gelding we’re proud to offer in the sale. ⚡️

He’s a Streakin Boon Dox × Blue Valentine gelding, and this is a cross outside of our program that we really, really like. He’s been spending time in Eastern Colorado and has a really good start, currently doing ranch work and getting some miles under him. 🤩

🧬 We love the combination of these bloodlines and think he has a lot of opportunity ahead of him. He’s got a good foundation under him and a lot of room to keep growing into the kind of horse you want. There’s a lot to like about this gelding, and we’re excited to see where he goes.

This is one of those c**ts that makes you stop and take a second look. He’s a big grullo roan with a pedigree we really love.

🧬 His unique combination of bloodlines represents the Hayes and Merritt breeding really well. It’s a combination we really love and are proud to have in this c**t.

💙 He’s got the size, color, and pedigree to make a serious stud prospect, and we’re excited to see what he grows into.
