What a surreal trip this was… Sealing the deal on not 1 but 2 bulls in a new state. We are so thankful we were able to hunt those mountains and experience all of the encounters and elk filled memories. Thanks, Idaho. Onto the next.

The packout… The packout is where the real work starts. Miles under a heavy load will drain you fast, so staying on top of water and electrolytes matters just as much as the gear on your back. Hydrate early, replace what you lose, and keep moving.
