With Hilltop Speedway getting rained out, the team decided it was time for a little getaway!

We took a trip north to visit one of our sponsors, Lorain Ohio KartPlex, and let me tell you… this place is AWESOME. And the best part? They’re only getting started!

They currently have outdoor rental karts running 7 days a week, with even more coming soon. They’re working toward adding a full room of motion simulators, along with an entire restaurant and brewery to the facility.

If you haven’t had a chance to check them out yet, you definitely need to!

Back to our regularly scheduled program.

Billy Dawson will be heading to Hilltop Speedway this Saturday night for their last points race of the season. Shout out to Mike Blankenship for letting him wheel the #81 rocket ship once again! We could not thank you enough for allowing us to continue chasing this championship.

Jacob Syx will be piloting the Newfast Motorsports sport compact to try and remain in good standings for his respective points championship. As most of you know, he was involved in an incident at Midway speedway that totaled his car. So Billy gave up the seat of his compact so he can remain in the chase!

3:36am Update

The entire team has safely made it back to their respective destinations, and Peyton’s trailer was successfully limped the two-plus hours back to Orrville.

This weekend was long, hectic, exhausting, and filled with plenty of highs and lows. But honestly, I’d live every bit of it all over again because of the people we have in this group.

Tonight was another perfect example of what this team is capable of. When things go sideways and we’re faced with some pretty outrageous situations, we find a way to adapt, overcome, and somehow still have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

Now time to focus on Hilltop Speedway coming up this Saturday night! We have a championship to go win.

All 3 nights ended early. Some a bit more rough than others. Everyone is okay, but all the cars need a little bit of work.

Billy Dawson broke ANOTHER right rear safety hub. Kept it on all 4 wheels this time tho.

Peyton Davis got a bit high in the cushion, tapped the wall and unbeaded his right front tire. With only 2 laps to go, forcing him to pull off.

Jacob Syx got caught up in one nasty racing incident. The car is pretty junked. I’ll have his go pro footage posted soon.
