Another great day and two more wins against the Royal Oak Stars! 🧡🖤🥎

The girls came out ready to play some HARD softball today! We saw sliding into bases, making some great plays, getting in the dirt, and most importantly—giving it their all! 💪🏼

We are so proud of the character, heart, and hard work these girls continue to show, both on the field and off the field. They’re putting in the work, encouraging each other, and growing every game!

Keep working, keep fighting, and keep being YOU, girls! Way to go, 11U-Zajac! 🧡🖤🥎

Last but certainly not least….
🥎Meet Head Coach Stephanie Zajac

As a wife and mom of two who works full-time, Coach Steph brings a unique mix of experience, passion, and a whole lot of energy to The Edge Fastpitch Softball Team!

With nearly 15 years of softball coaching experience at both the high school and recreational levels, along with several years of coaching high school basketball, Coach Steph has spent countless hours helping young athletes become hardworking, committed players who are hungry to learn, compete, and love the game of softball!💪

For her, the best part of coaching is watching an athlete grow; not just as a player, but as a person. She believes in leading by example, working hard, having fun, and creating an environment where players feel challenged, supported, and confident. Her former players describe her coaching style as passionate, relatable, and fun. They knew she would push them when they needed to be pushed, show understanding when they needed a little grace, and would always have their backs. “When faced with a challenge, one question she always asks is, ‘Will it make you bitter, or will it make you better?’ My goal is to help you choose better!”♥️

Coach Steph is excited to be part of The Edge Family and looks forward to helping create an atmosphere where our 11U girls can compete, learn, laugh, grow, and...most importantly...have FUN playing the game they love!🧡🖤🧡

“I’m thrilled to be a part of The Edge Family and to help create an atmosphere where our 11U team can be competitive, learn, grow, and have a whole lot of fun along the way!”

Coach Josh LaMay
11U Assistant Coach

Coach Josh is a husband and father of two awesome kids and a former college football player. He brings over 10 years of experience as an assistant baseball coach at several high schools, including Clarkston High School, where he also spent nine years as an assistant football coach. He has also coached softball at various levels for the past three years.

Coach Josh’s favorite part of coaching is watching kids grow as both people and athletes. He enjoys highlighting the life lessons sports can teach and values teaching kids the history of the game and what it means to be a ballplayer, a lifelong athlete, and, most importantly, a good person.

Character First. Compete. Repeat. 🧡🖤🥎
