Base Knox 10u Softball- Scharbach

Shewww what a day we had yesterday 😮‍💨
Got to the field at 7am for our 8am game and ended our night at 10pm after the championship game! These girls had some hot bats, big plays in the field and determination to not give up after the mistakes.

Game 1 Team MVP- Camille! She was dominate in her pitching as usual with 7 strikeouts!

Game 2 Team MVP- Raylee! She was also fire on the mound with 7 strikeouts also!

Game 3 Team MVP- Amelia! She had a huge catch in right field from a strong high pop fly for the out!

Game 4 Team MVP- went to the whole team because it was so many different hits, defensive plays and pitching to get that win
Game MVP- went to both Amelia and Raylee. Raylee had zero hits, zero runs, no walks during her innings pitch and also had two big hits bringing in runs! Amelia had a big diving catch on a foul ball to get an out and also stopped a hard hit ball to third to get it to first for the final out of the game!

This put us into the championship game against our sister team Base Knox Elite! This game was a back forth awesome game. We ended up losing to them by one run 4-3! We are so proud of the girls for how they did all day!

We are still looking for two hard working 2nd year 10u girls a pitcher and a catcher.

We played in our first night tournament last night with our girls starting off strong!

Game 1- our girls killed it with their bats and Raylee was bringing the heat in the circle. Got our first big win for the night! Raylee received our team MVP for her pitching and Lily got the Game MVP for her GLAND SLAM! 🔥

Game 2- our girls were down by a few runs when we got to our first at bat. Everyone was being disciplined at the plate allowing us to go through our entire lineup on 2 outs and fighting to get on base and be smart! We had big hits from Paisley (to help bring in runs to tie up the game) and Haven with a big triple scoring us runs to give us the lead! Ended the game with a good hard fought W!

Game 3- GOLD BRACKET CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!! We played a solid team during this game starting around 12:30am. Our girls had a break before this game and just weren’t awake. We ended the night as Finalists in the Gold Bracket! Haven received the tournament MVP for our team because she had come alive with her bat all day and coming out of that shell showing us what she is capable of!

We had a few pick up players to help during our tournament since we had a few girls out with prior plans and we appreciate the fun and fire they brought!

We are so proud of our our girls and are ready to work on things to keep this going!

Our pool games are done and we are waiting on bracket to come out! These girls came to play this morning with two early games.
Scoring 21 points so far and only allowing 1 RUN!!

Game 1:
Umpire MVP-Camille (pitched awesome only allowing one hit and striking out 8!)
Team MVP- Emma (lead the team with two great hits to right field and of course locked it down behind the plate)
*7 stolen bases this game

Game 2:
Umpire MVP- Brylie (Leading the game in hits and stolen bases)
Team MVP- Haven (Pitched a perfect game!! She had zero walks, zero runs, zero hits and striking out 3)
*20 stolen bases!!
