In the course of moving an office we discovered a couple more copies of The Custom Revolver by Hamilton Bowen. We have put these, now long out of print, books up for sale on our website.

Not a gun terribly out of the ordinary but a lovely one never-the-less and worth recording before sending it along to its owner. The medium-frame stainless New Model Flat top is fitted with a 5-shot cylinder large and long enough to handle the +P+ loadings in contemporary reloading manuals for large-frame Blackhawks and kin. The most distinctive feature is the rebored S&W M629 barrel fitted, about as graceful and handsome a barrel as we can supply. The gun is also fitted with a Bisley hammer and a lanyard ring. The screws and pins are nitre blued. Roy Fishpaw produced the ivory grips.

Despite the fact there are tens of millions of K, L and N-frame S&W revolvers made since WWII out there, S&W has discontinued this vital part. Fear not, we now have these parts available at the BCA parts store.
