What a weekend for the Tennessee Select Soccer Academy U16 Boys! ⚽️🔥

The boys went 4-0 at the Riverside Summer Shootout in Asheville, North Carolina, recording three shutouts on their way to the championship. In the final, they battled to a hard-fought 2-1 victory to bring home the trophy! 🏆

A tremendous start to the season and a true team effort from the players, coaches, and parents. The hard work, commitment, and preparation are already paying off!

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on an incredible weekend! We’re proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead. 💪⚽️

What a weekend for our U15 boys at the Riverside Summer Shootout in Asheville, North Carolina! ⚽️

We couldn’t be more proud of the effort, attitude, and determination these boys showed all weekend long.

The boys came out strong on Saturday, going 2-0 with wins over Redoubt Generals (3-1) and Sporting JC U11 (2-0). Those results earned them an opportunity on Sunday to play for a spot in the championship game — with a win putting them in the finals.

Unfortunately, we came up just short, falling 1-0 in a hard-fought game. Losing is never easy, and there’s no doubt the boys were disappointed. But sometimes the most valuable lessons come from the games that don’t go our way.

This weekend was about more than wins and losses. The boys competed, battled, learned, grew, and continued to come together as a team. They challenged themselves, played hard, and represented our club with pride.

We hope they also found a few moments to have some fun along the way. After all, that’s what it’s all about. ❤️⚽️

Proud of this group. Proud of their effort. Proud of the way they competed.

Keep working, keep learning, keep competing. The best is still ahead! 💪⚽️

Congratulations to our Tennessee Select U13 Girls for bringing home the championship at the Riverside Summer Shootout in Asheville, North Carolina, this past weekend!

After going 1-1 on Saturday, the girls earned a rematch in the semifinal against the one team that had beaten them. They came out hungry and determined, scoring midway through the first half to take a 1-0 lead and battling all the way to the final whistle to secure their spot in the championship game.

The final brought even more drama. After falling behind 1-0, the girls refused to quit. In the dying seconds of the game, they found the equalizer to make it 1-1 and send the championship to kicks from the mark.

At that point, there was no denying them. 💪 The girls held their nerve, won the shootout, and brought home the championship! 🏆

What a display of fight, belief, composure, and perseverance from this group!

Way to go, ladies, coaches, and parents, on a fantastic weekend! 👏⚽🏆

⚽ MASSIVE SHOUTOUT TO OUR U14 GIRLS! ⚽

We want to give a massive shoutout to our Tennessee Select U14 Girls for their outstanding performance at the Riverside Summer Shootout in Asheville, North Carolina, this past weekend!

The girls showed incredible composure and determination throughout the tournament, earning two ties and allowing only two goals across three games.

Their defensive work rate, discipline, and team fight were top-notch all weekend. 💪⚽

Great job representing Tennessee Select and competing for one another from start to finish.
