EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
I just passed my final exam for my Kinesiology Certification!
If you're already aware of my "secret menu" then this isn't news.
But, if you're like, what the heck is kinesiology (other than it's fun to say) then keep reading...
Kinesiology means "the science of movement" and I've been practicing it unofficially for years. My first experience with Kinesiology Education came when I started homeschooling the boys. We used specific movement-based exercises to help rewire neurological pathways to support emotional regulationāespecially as associated with autism, ADHD, sensory challenges, and learning differences.
If you knew them then and know them now, youāve seen firsthand what a difference it made.
Personally, it's helped me with food issues, lingering p@in from my broken leg, regain range of motion and mobility that PT wasn't filling, and prevent further injury! Plus getting me through "the change" with few symptoms.
18 months ago, I turned that secret menu into a side business and God quickly showed me that this path was meant for me. This semester, I enrolled myself into this certification course to make it official. I'd love to share more results from my current and past clients.
If youāre curious what kinesiology might do for you, type "wellness" in the comments, or send me a DM.
If there is enough interest, I'll do a little workshop on the basics āplus 4 simple things you can start doing right now to support your energy and overall well-being
(especially if you feel like youāve tried everything else).
*Disclaimer: This is not medical advice. I support the bodyās natural ability to restore balance.

āļø Grab a pencil, but remember this first...
You will resonate with more than one prompt (no matter which core type you are on the Enneagram!).
So challenge yourself to answer all nine prompts if possible.
When you understand your own boundary blindspots and burnout patterns,
you can protect your energy better when you're dealing with clients (or personal relationships!) that tend to drain your energy. š
If you feel stumped on one of them, it could be an interesting energy to explore. Go follow me at Enneagram Energetics to understand how to harmonize harmful, resistant or dormant energies.

I'm thinking about hosting a monthly zoom for those of you seeking to carve out an hour to focus on renewing your energy, mindset, and general well-being.
Let's try it out this month.

I'm calling it The Circle to focus on the part of the Enneagram symbol that is too often overlooked! The Circle represents your wholeness, unity, and connection within yourself!
Come get inspired and reminded to "put on YOUR oxygen mask on first" so you can be the Difference Maker you are born to be!
See you then!

Two weeks ago, I decided to do something that I put on my Vision Board back in January (host my first live talk on InsightTimer) and literally just picked a date in my calendar and then created the event.
And then I forgot to promote it. š
When I logged in this morning, I noticed only 5 people had registered to attend and I'm pretty sure one of those 5 was me. š
But I was ready to speak to just myself if no one ended up showing up to the live talk.
Well, 44 people showed up to hear me speak! And collectively gave me over 1000 hearts for a 30-minute talk. Look at all those avatars!!!
Aw, shucks! š
(I'm talking about enneagram type 1s and boundaries next Thursday. DM for the š)

We sometimes forget this. š
Children are people too.
I have witnessed and been guilty of jumping to conclusions when I see a child "misbehave." š¬ I have had to learn to stop seeing their actions through a filter of adulthood or my baggage, and start ASKING QUESTIONS about what they were trying to accomplish (minus the irritated tone of voice). ā£ā£
ā£ā£
It is hard (and not advisable š
š»āāļø) to type children as an enneagram number. Some say it is easier to keep it broad and to look at their triads since children are still developing and discovering themselves well into adolescence. Be mindful that the child's willingness to know their own number is key.
šSome NORMAL things to remember are:ā£ā£
āļøChildren do not think, move, or emote like adults.ā£ā£
āļøChildren's minds and children's bodies do not develop at the same rate. Therefore, they may KNOW one thing, but they cannot get their bodies to DO it (and vice-versa).ā£ā£
ā£ā£
It is also normal for us to "paint our world" with the paintbrush of our own number. In other words, project our motivations onto them, or interpret their behaviors in terms of our core fears or core desires. Be mindful of this too when interacting with children (and adults!).ā£ā£
If you find this helpful, make sure to save this for later and share it with a friend who can benefit from this.

Do you feel this too? š
The overwhelming feeling of not knowing where to start. Believe me, you are not alone.
Sometimes, we get stuck because we're looking for answers outside of ourselves, instead of inside.
Every journey that we take, starts within ourselves.
Once we know who we are and what we truly want, that self-awareness will make the first step a whole lot easier. ā”
Are you ready to start conquering yourself today?
