When we talk about community support, we want people to know that it truly makes a difference.
Last year, businesses, families, and members of our community stepped up to support Kingsford Fastpitch. Those sponsorship dollars helped us build our program, provide opportunities for our athletes, and put us in a position to continue growing.
But here’s what we are most proud of…
We wanted that support to continue benefiting our athletes moving forward.
This year, as our program has grown to 70 players, our organization was able to use funds raised last year to help offset some of the cost of practice facility training for all 70 of our players. 🥎
That means the support our community gave us last year is directly helping girls this year — giving them more opportunities to practice, develop their skills, gain confidence, and become better athletes.
That is what we believe a community softball program should be about.
Our goal as an organization is to provide our athletes with as much support and opportunity as we possibly can. When we are able to use funds raised to help ease some of the financial burden on our families, we believe that is a win for everyone.
We are building more than a softball program. We are building opportunities for our girls and creating a community that believes in them. 🩵🩷
