Both teams came out ready to work, compete, and learn. Lots of good reps, great plays, and plenty of learning moments on both sides today. This is what scrimmages are all about—getting better, making adjustments, and growing every time you step on the field.

Great practice with the girls tonight, then they got to hang around and cheer on Coach Americo during his game! Nothing better than seeing this group putting in the work, having fun, and making memories together along the way.

Not exactly the finish we were looking for this weekend, but we couldn’t be more proud of this group of girls! 🖤💛
Their first 9U kid pitch tournament is officially in the books, and Voodoo is heading home 3rd out of 9 teams after battling against some TOUGH competition all weekend! 💪🏼🥎
Kid pitch is a whole new ballgame, and these girls stepped up, played hard, fought until the very end, and never gave up. Coming home 3rd in their very first one is definitely nothing to be ashamed of!
So much to learn, so much to build on, and SO much potential in this group. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these girls! 🖤💛

There’s so much more that goes into coaching these girls than what people see on tournament weekends. The time, the patience, the phone calls, the practices, the planning, the worrying, and constantly trying to figure out how to bring out the best in each one of them.
Thank you for loving these girls like your own, believing in them, pushing them when they need it, and always wanting more FOR them.
