‼️ Race recap 6/20. ‼️
The weekend started early, Thursday and Friday the car was in Windber supporting our Partners Bella’s and Jerley Auto Body at Miner's Weekend. This is a great event and I had the opportunity to meet so many great folks. Lots of racing talk.

Saturday started early with some time in the shop putting on the final touches to the setup. Once at the track we went out for first practice. Fighting loose conditions through both practice sessions. While on the grid for the heat race the skies opened. We would sit through a 2 hour delay. Once the track dried we started 4th in the heat race and finished fourth.

The Feature had us starting on the pole position after the invert. After a bad start. The second start was better, my shifter broke just as I was at the starting line shifting into high gear. I was able to get the car in high gear somehow, but I was shuffled back to 5th. We had a good run and the car was better Everytime we hit the track. We salvaged a 6th place finish.

I finally felt comfortable, the car balance is getting better and more predictable. Feeling optimistic about the rest of the season.

Thanks to all the guys and gals that help get the car ready, help travel to the venues, help loading unloading, packing everything up. Thanks for all the hard work in the pits and the shop. I huge thanks to our partners. Without them, I couldn't live this dream. Please support their businesses. They are supporting the community and racing.
