Training Camp: July 21 (Rookies)
Day 1.

A lot of people ask what actually goes down on Day 1 when rookies report to training camp, and it’s probably not what most think.
​Nobody is putting on pads, running 40s, or hitting the field for full practices yet. Today is strictly behind-the-scenes administrative stuff to get everyone set up for the season.
​Here is what their first day actually looks like:

​Medical Checks & Physicals: Full physicals, baseline concussion testing, bloodwork, and orthopedic evaluations by the medical team to make sure everyone is cleared.
​Gear & Locker Setup: They officially move into the locker room, process paperwork, and get custom fittings for pads, helmets, and cleats with the equipment crew.

​Playbook & Team Meetings: Coach Ryans and the staff hold orientation to lay out camp rules, schedule expectations, conditioning standards, and hand out the initial playbook installs.

​Nutrition & Recovery Prep: Meetings with strength coaches and team nutritionists to map out individual recovery, meal plans, and daily routines.

​It’s basically an intense orientation day. The real field work and acclimation practices won't kick off until later in the week!
