The 47th Annual Amtrak Century & Metric is more than just a bike ride. It’s an unforgettable day of scenic coastal cycling, outstanding rider support, lunch and a cold beer at the finish, followed by a relaxing free train ride home while our trucks safely transport your bike back for you.

OCW Poker Ride – Saturday, July 11
Gather your friends, family, and fellow cyclists for a day of riding, poker cards, prizes, and great company.

Before the Ride
Wear your OCW or Amtrak jersey to earn an extra poker draw and show your club spirit.
Bring a prize donation to the check-in to earn extra poker-card draws..

Plan ahead! Choose the OCW short (4 stops), medium (5 stops), or long route (7 stops). Routes are posted on the OCW calendar. OCWheelmen.org/calendar —or create your own route using the participating card-dealer locations!

Important!!! Trails End is the only store opening at 8:30 (just for us) and we will have our own stop at Portola Springs Park starting at 9 AM. The rest of the stores do not open until 10 AM!!

Ride Day Check-In begins at 8:30 AM at Hangar 24 Brewery - 17877 Von Karman Ave., Irvine
Free parking. Take a parking ticket when entering. Hangar24 will validate after your ride.
Sign in at the check in table as an OCW member or guest and receive your Poker Board.

Ride to participating card-dealer locations.
Present your Poker Board first, then draw one card at each stop.
If you draw a card you already had, discard it and draw again.
The dealer will stamp your Poker Board with their unique stamp.
Make a purchase at a participating store and earn one additional card draw at that location.

After the Ride
Return to Hangar 24 and put your bike in your car if possible.
Submit your hand at the Pit Boss Table (See Terry & Julie) in the Hangar 24 park area.
Relax, socialize, and enjoy lunch and beverages at Hangar 24 while the hands are scored.

The best poker hands will win prizes donated by OCW, local bike shops, and fellow riders.
Can’t stay for prizes? No problem! We will contact you so you can collect your prize later.

Delivery Drivers (2) dropping off/picking up rest stop equipment. (We will provide the truck)
Las Pulgas (2) 9:00- 12:00
Solana Beach (6) 10:00 - 2:00 (Can take the train there and back)
Torrey Pines (3) 10:30 - 3:00
Flaggers along the Rose Creek Bikeway (3) 11:00 - 3:30
San Diego Bike Loaders (2) 11:30 - 5:00 (Can take the train there and back)
Irvine Train Station Bike Return Support (2) 3 - 6 PM

The 2026 Amtrak Century Ride is coming up on September 12th.
Early Registration Discounts close at the end of June. These are the last days to take advantage of the 10% discount.

Like last year, we are going to be offering a Metric Ride (62 miles) and Full Century Ride (100 miles) as options.

☀️ Saturday’s Social Ride at The Square is shaping up to be a warm summer day. To help everyone cool down and refuel, OCW is treating riders to a refreshing post-ride social featuring cold fruit, frozen treats, and ice-cold water.

Join us after the ride to relax, cool off, and enjoy some well-earned refreshments with your fellow riders! (Bring a chair if you've got one.)
