Made the trip back to Cordele Motor Speedway for their championship night🏁 So glad we did! Ended up 2nd in the outlaw feature and picked up 3 tenths since last race. The car felt great!! It was Ashley's first time driving the crown vic there. Ashley struggled in first practice session then had a talk with Bobby Mobley and second session was much better picking up 2 seconds!
Feature Jay started outside pole and stayed in second the entire race even when it got dicey with the lap cars😬
Ashley's feature could've been better struggled with the car not running correctly for the first 12 laps and it finally came back to life and it was good. Only 4 laps down in a 40 lap feature and not spinning out (that happened in 1st practice🤫) Finished 6th.

We'll be street stock racing this weekend and might even throw in Steve's crown vic at Auburndale Speedway

We had this race weekend planned for months, and Daytona was not part of it. When New Smyrna Speedway & Auburndale Speedway rained out we improvised. Our 2026 goal was to have fun in racing again. Mission accomplished so far. Next up..........who knows.
