Bring Your Grill (BYG) is an annual grilling competition with the intent to raise funds and awareness for a local charity. Bring Your Grill is fun for all ages.
Bring Your Grill is an annual grilling competition with the intent to raise funds and awareness for a local Charity. Our Motto is Good Food, Good Cause, & Good Time and for the past few years we're proud to say that we've done just that. Last year's competition drew in a crowd of nearly a 100 people and we anticipate that the crowd will more than double this year. The 3rd Annual BYG competition w
ill be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Indy's Southside. Proceeds from this year’s competition will go towards our 2016 chosen charity Devington Community Development Corporation (DCDC), to help fund future projects. DCDC is a multi-faceted non-profit organization that focuses on providing financial and educational assistance to the underprivileged youth and adults on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The winner of Bring Your Grill competition is determined based on a combined total of People's votes and Judges points. The grill master with the highest combined points and votes is the champion. The winner receive cash prize, winner's trophy and a Bring Your Grill championship apron. 2nd and 3rd placed contestants also receive a trophy and prize. BYG offers variety of activities and games such as; Corn hole tournament, Darts, Ping-pong, cards, dancing and music by a local DJ. There's a designated play area for children. Aside from great BBQ, patrons also get to enjoy delicious side dishes, desserts and beverages.
