After 33 years of coaching, John Hirst has built Reagan High School into a program that develops young people first.

"If your son graduates and all he learned was how to break a press," Coach Hirst says, "then we failed him."

His philosophy is simple: great programs are built on relationships, culture, and doing things the right way. Multiple D1 athletes. Multiple assistants who became head coaches. But his biggest pride? The young people who leave his program as better humans.

Coach John Hirst has spent 33 years doing things the right way. That includes knowing CPR protocols. Understanding heat illness prevention. Being ready for emergencies.

Because protecting your athletes means being prepared for anything.

Culture over wins. Coach Hirst's story is a reminder that great programs aren't built by accident. They're built through vision, consistency, belief, and the daily work most people never see.
