Can’t wait for our next race on Saturday. It’s gonna be a good one! We would love to see some of our friends and family come out too. If you’ve been itching to get at the track, or to see Rhett race, or just to check out what all the fuss is about- I promise this is a good one for all those :)

Sawyer is only 15 years old. He should be worrying about school, sports, girls and being a kid — not fighting for his life against Stage 4 brain cancer. 💔

If you’ve ever met Sawyer, you know exactly what kind of kid he is. He’s one of those truly special kids who leaves an impression on everyone around him. The kind of kid you’re proud to know. The kind of kid you’d want your own son to grow up to be like. ❤️

Cancer isn’t fair. It’s playing dirty with this one.

But Sawyer has something cancer can’t take away — people who love him, friends and family standing beside him, and an entire racing community ready to fight alongside him. 🏁💙

On September 19th, we are asking everyone to come out to CrossRoads MX. Come race. Come spectate. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your support.

You may think you’re just coming to the track for a race, but to Sawyer and his family, your presence means so much more.

We had such a great Labor Day weekend at our favorite track with awesome friends and family. We were able to help support such an amazing cause and donate to the St. Jude fund. Many of you know we have dealt with our unfair share of cancer in our families so we were honored to help support the cause.

We’ve been practicing starts, turns, and overall throttle control. Rhett is doing so good I even saw him gaining some time on the kid in front of him in his last moto. He’s gaining more confidence as he is making new friends at the tracks. Every race meets a new best friend 😆

He got 3rd in 50 shaft beginner and 1st in mini e-bike.

Wr are so proud of this dude ! Even Porter ran his stacyc sat morning just to practice and he was doing so good. Beyond that excited to see how the last few races of this season looks like for these wriker boys

When this kid figures out how to bring his confidence from our backyard track to the race track… he’s going to be unstoppable 🙏🏼 🙌🏼

I also wanted to vomit when I saw this happen in real time. And then the following lap he wrecked because he wanted to do a trick in the air 👀 🤣

Pay no attention to our white trash backyard- it’s for my garden 🙈

My dad, Ross Wriker, is the coolest. He is not only my mechanic, pit crew, and coach, but he’s also a track engineer too 👀 He got equipment from TUFFMAN Equipment & Supply and redid our home track! I may or may not have helped him with the mini skid 😎

The race is still on! We’re moving this weekend’s COMX race to Crossroads MX in New London, Ohio, and running our regular race schedule.

🏁 Friday open practice: 4–8 p.m.
🏕️ Free camping
🚪 Saturday gates open: 7 a.m.
📝 Registration Saturday morning
🏍️ Race practice: Approximately 9 a.m.

We typically give Rhett the caffeine free version but we ran out this day🤣 Rhett can barely speak he’s so concentrated on finishing up the last drop hahaha

We had two races in one very full weekend! Saturday’s race was a benefit race and Rhett placed 4th and 6th. He was jumping and standing and going fast. He actually beat a couple kids in one of his races, like on purpose 😆 we are so stinking proud of him. His e bike has been shutting off during several of his races so we have our best mechanic, Ross, working on it this week 😉 We got to see a pretty sweet mx freestyle show last night and today and watched some really talented pro and semi pro riders way past our bedtimes !!! Our favorite rider Jeremy Hand was even there and rooted for him the whole race!

Sunday’s races were full of moto drama but through it, Rhett learned to clear your head and not let yourself feel rushed. He adjusted and let it rip. Today’s races were actually for his series points. And we aren’t exactly sure what he placed since the track cut a bunch of classes. But, he rode his absolute heart out. We are thinking he took a 3rd or 4th in his 50 shaft beginner class and 1st in his e-bike class.

Porter got 1st in his stacyc 12” class but he was the only one and the whole track was watching and he didn’t get a nap and he really only went down a jump and around a turn before he called it quits 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Can’t wait to return to our favorite track soon (Crossroads MX Track that’s you guys!)

If y’all have our calendars, it says next race is a D12 race in Milan, MI on Sunday, but we haven’t decided if we can 100% make it. We will let yall know. Otherwise we’ll have a week off and get back at it in two weeks.
