Ten Signs You're A Great Teammate

Family!💦Water is essential for life, and it’s important to make sure you’re drinking enough of it every day. However, many of us don’t realize just how much water we need to stay healthy and hydrated.👀

Male bodies need approximately 120 ounces of water per day, while female bodies need approximately 88 ounces. This may seem like a lot, but it’s necessary for your body to function properly.🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾

Chronic dehydration can lead to a host of health problems, including headaches, fatigue, joint pain, digestive issues, and more. In fact, your body can go without food for weeks, but without water, you will die in just 3 to 5 days. This is because water is essential for many of your body’s vital functions, including regulating your body temperature, transporting nutrients and oxygen to your cells, and removing waste and toxins from your body.🧬

🚨The first sign of dehydration is often a headache, as toxins build up in your blood when there’s not enough fluid to wash them out effectively. This is your body’s way of trying to get your attention and tell you to drink more water. Other signs of dehydration include dry mouth, dark urine, dizziness, and fatigue.

So, how can we make sure you’re drinking enough water every day? Here are some tips:

💠 Carry a water bottle with you wherever you go. This will remind you to drink water throughout the day, and make it easy to do so.

💠 Drink water before, during, and after exercise. This will help replace the fluids you lose through sweat🏋🏾

💠Eat water-rich foods, such as watermelon, cucumbers, and oranges. These foods can help contribute to your daily water intake.🍉🥒🍊

💠 Set reminders on your phone or computer to drink water throughout the day.🤳🏾

💠 Drink water instead of sugary drinks, such as soda and juice. These drinks can actually dehydrate you, and contribute to other health problems.

Remember, staying hydrated is essential for good health. By drinking enough water every day, you can help prevent a host of health problems, and keep your body functioning at its best. So, drink up!🥰🙌🏽
