He was trying to quit.... He clearly had more to give. So I pulled up on his workout with my camera and some extra motivation. We got some more done. 🙌
Sometimes you need that Lil extra push. đź’Ş

This is my honest opinion on this topic. For most people this is all you really need if you are really pushing yourself. More is great, but 3 days of training as close to failure as you can is enough for some real results.

This is not some of the best form you’ve ever seen on the hip rust but this can happen as you get closer to the end of your workout.
This was her final set and leading into a drop set so we upped the weight and descended into some pause reps which I did not film.
This is why I wasn’t too particular about the form for this particular part of the drop set. However, if you notice, her form starts to completely breakdown as she keeps going.
This is what we call mechanical failure, mechanical failure is a failure that happens when you can’t perform good reps anymore. Basically things don’t look Instagram worthy anymore lol.
If you are really serious about growing in the gym, you have to get to this point at least twice a week on some exercises. Stop chasing RPE 8 for everything!!
Remember, push yourself or stay the same ‼️
No, please do not trust the numbers from those scales, they are very inaccurate.
If you really want to find your true body fat percentage, go get it tested. Take a test at a facility whether it is an air displacement, water displacement or even a dexa scan. Bioelectric impedance scales are not accurate. We have two in the gym. One says im 14% another 22% and the inbody says im 6.7%.
The inbody is a little better at recording changes over time but even that is generally wrong by a couple percentage points. It is however more accurate at telling changes cos of the frequencies it uses and its process of coming up with its metrics. But it's absolute values are usually wrong.
Do NOT run with the numbers from these scales please 🙏
Struggling to squat deep without falling forward? 🛑 This quick fix is a game-changer.
If you lack the ankle mobility to keep your heels flat while getting low, your body compensates by leaning excessively forward.
By placing a squat wedge or weight plates under your heels, you improve your shin-to-foot angle. This lets you drop straight down into a deep, upright squat without losing balance! 🏋️‍♂️✨

This is the reason most people loose weight when they increase their calories. There are other reasons, but for 99.9999% of people, this is why.
Adherence is the goal, that's what you should chase. Something sustainable, something you can keep up with for a long time.

Men change diapers too. Please put the changing station in the men's bathroom as well. I can't be the only one that's noticed this or finds this annoying
