Houston Striders

We were thrilled to donate proceeds from the Houston Half Marathon & 10K.

Memorial Park Conservancy continues to be in awe of the generosity of Park-users. In support of yesterday’s Day of Giving, area running group Houston Striders gifted the Conservancy an incredible $15,000! The group invited Memorial Park Conservancy staff to join their evening practice to accept the gift and talk to members about how their contribution benefits all Houstonians.
This gift will directly support Memorial Park Conservancy’s mission to preserve, restore, and enhance Memorial Park for the enjoyment of all Houstonians!

As a local non-profit organization, the Houston Striders is proud to give back annually to the Houston community through charitable gifts from the proceeds of our annual Houston Half Marathon and Houston 10K. Our donations program is open to any registered 501(c)(3) non-profit group/club/team.

The 2021 application has been published at the link below. Please share with local non-profits that align with our mission!! The due date for application submission is January 10, 2022.
