Proud to announce another Four corners park player making it to the National U19 team. Sugar Land Youth Cricket Club is immensely excited to congratulate Hiranya Singh Talan for her selection to represent United States in U19 Women’s Cricket ! Hiranya also plays softball for Austin High school. Congratulations to her parents as well.

Hiranya came through the U11/13/15 and Houston Women's Cricket program playing local leagues run by the non profit Triggers Colts Cricket League .

For a small non profit community based organization like ours, we take great pride in volunteering for the cause of Cricket. SLYCC was set up in 2014 to promote the game of cricket in Fort Bend county area. Over the course of last twelve years, our volunteers have worked with FBISD, the YMCA and other organizations to facilitate access to Cricket !

A big shout out to Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy and the Fort Bend County Parks and Fairgrounds team for enabling cricket by building facilities right here in our county.

Fort Bend County is proud to support our youth cricket leagues through investments in our parks, and we are even prouder of these young champions whose hard work, perseverance, and teamwork made this achievement possible. Well done to the players, coaches, parents, and volunteers who support youth sports and help our young people thrive both on and off the field.

What a special feeling - SLYCC U13 Stars & U15 Pulsars are Houston Champs!!! Winning the Colts Cricket League Playoffs at this morning.

The kids from Four Corners did it !!! Its not just the win but the fact that we did against all odds; losing our practice ground to reconstruction over the last 2 months, battling home work, injuries, band practices etc to win the Championships!. This is a win for ALL SLYCC's Coaches, Parents, Volunteers & Players.

Lets keep working hard, make cricket more accessible and more competitive! Big shout out to Fort Bend County Parks and Fairgrounds for supporting our requests, and the County Admis for continuing to build quality fields.

Great start to the National Youth Cricket Tournament - Houston this morning. Thank you Commissioner Dexter L. McCoy for inaugurating the tournament throwing the first ball at Four corners park. 52 teams from all over North America are playing across 26 grounds in Houston over the next 4 days!!!
