Why do I bike commute? There are so many reasons. Less stress. Seeing more. The bike’s smaller footprint opens up more route varieties. Conversation. Less noise.

On this ride (which started on Metro) I saw ducks, chatted with a police officer training new firefighters, passed cool murals, and arrived to work in a great mood.

This is so awesome to see highlighted in my email. Congratulations, Grant!

Do these draft markings mean 3rd (4th?) time is the charm? Is Austin Street’s re-re-repaving nearly done? I guess only time will tell.

Who can argue with space cats? I will put this down another bonus to bike commutes.

After 1 year, Austin Street seemed close to being done getting repaved last week. Without the protected bike lane, but repaved nonetheless. It was smooth and painted near HCC. One week later, it’s stripped down again. What gives? Was enough money not already wasted ripping up a protected lane that they had go do it again?
