Keith Alan Gunn — Oh, How We Will Miss You

Keith Alan Gunn was a living legend of both Sam Houston State University and Woodlands Rugby. His impact on both programs went far beyond the rugby pitch. He was a teammate, a brother, a mentor, and a true part of the history that makes these clubs what they are today.

Keith will always be remembered, and his legacy will forever be etched in the hearts and history of both programs.

Thank you, Keith, for the memories, the brotherhood, and everything you gave to the rugby community. Your memory will live on, and your legacy will never be forgotten.

Forever and always a Woodlands Rugger. 💚

For the second year in a row, our very own Woodlands RFC Men’s Team has claimed the Cherrybone 7’s Championship! What an incredible way to cap off another outstanding tournament.

Now it’s time to get the boys back together.

🏉 D2 Forwards of the Year – Danny Curle & James Demetropolis 🏉

Congratulations to Danny Curle .__.curle and James Demetropolis on being named the 2025–26 D2 Forwards of the Year!

This award was shared between two players who consistently set the standard in the forward pack throughout the season. Their physicality, work rate, commitment, and leadership played a major role in the success of Woodlands Rugby this year.

Danny Curle brought relentless effort and dedication every week, continually putting the team first and making an impact whenever he stepped onto the field.

James Demotropolis was equally deserving, delivering outstanding performances throughout the season and providing the toughness and consistency that every successful forward pack relies upon.

Sharing this award is a reflection of the tremendous seasons both players had and the respect they earned from teammates and coaches alike.

Congratulations to Danny and James on a well-deserved honor and thank you both for your contributions to an outstanding season for Woodlands Rugby!
