The light-bulb moment is the best part. šŸ’”šŸ€

First, we identify the mistakes and break down the footwork.

Next, we slow everything down so the athlete can understand how each movement connects.

Then it clicks—and he begins executing the footwork repeatedly at a high level. šŸ”„

Great players aren’t developed by rushing the process. They’re developed through teaching, correction, repetition, and understanding.

This is what real player development looks like.

Triple Threat is an essential basketball building block! One of the first things young players should learn is to catch and face! Comment below if you are able to spot the differences between the 3 examples!

Anybody can dribble with no pressure… but can you keep control when the defense gets physical? šŸ€šŸ’Ŗ

We’re teaching our athletes to stay low, stay strong, and protect the basketball through contact. If practice is harder than the game, game pressure becomes easy.

Progress doesn’t always look perfect at first — sometimes it looks like struggle, correction, repetition… then BOOM šŸ’„ it clicks.

We worked on the Outside Dig footwork, and at first he was having a hard time getting the movement down. Instead of just moving on, we slowed it down, corrected the details, and kept getting reps until he cleaned it up and executed it the right way. šŸ€šŸ“ˆ

That’s what development is about.

At Dribble University, I’m not just putting kids through drills. I’m teaching them, correcting them, and helping them understand how to move better on the court.

Parents, if you want your child in an environment where they’re actually being coached and developed, send me a DM with ā€œTRAININGā€ and let’s get them started. šŸ”„
