The Newton community turned out to show love for their Coach WT Johnston today. There were generations of Newton Eagles standing with respect in their Purple and White. Coach Johnston loved the community and his players and as a man of God demonstrated how to live a life of faith. His success on the field was mirrored off the field as he coached many in life. How to be a good person, a good parent and a good member of society. Today his community showed how they loved and respected him. RIP Coach WT Johnston. Purple Pride Never Dies!!

Piney Woods Football Clinic is set Feb. 26th & 27th in Longview, Tx. Registration with full list of confirmed speakers coming soon. Here are a couple confirmed- David Raffield- Bridgeland #9 ranked 6A team in TX in only the 4th year for the program. Troy Rogers- Lampasas #2 ranked 4A team in TX. Blake Gideon from Ole Miss!
