This is what is all about…

Our program is all about trying to make sure that each and every player leaves our program not only as better players but better, more equipped to own their journey.

We are here to support their journey as players but also as people as well.

Youth soccer parents get it, right?

The fancy footwork that they can pin to their page, the cool gear that your youth soccer player can post after their clubs media day, and the great angled shots that they can use to show how hard they are working is... fine

It’s not our style though.

We are all about helping the “overlooked player” to become the “can’t help but look over player” on their team.

If that’s what you want that, then you’ll love it here.

If your player wants true development, then the work must be consistent and progressive. Training once a week or in a while won’t work.

We are focusing on proper body position in drills( see linked reel) to remain balanced in movements. Our training reinforces she does at home and vice versa.

Parents, do you want your player to progress faster than the competition? comment “ready” below!

Imagine your player not having to figure out what to train or if they are doing it well… players in our hybrid training programs really receive on it the regular. Comment “train” and I’ll see how we can help your player improve.

When parents ask

“Do I need to get a trainer?”

I show them clips like this.

Not to make me seem like I know it all as a trainer but because I think it best symbolizes what good ones do.

let me say this first…

Your player does not need a trainer to be successful!

In fact, most players need an environment where they can go out and play on their own.

But if you want your player to have a trainer, make sure they are invested in helping your player figure out the learning process.

In the same way that a good tutor will help your child to develop by teaching them the basics and then allowing them time to explore and develop.

A good trainer should care enough to show the basics, and then give them room to practice and grow.

Which gets me back to where I started

They don’t need a trainer but if you do, make sure

They are right there with your athlete.

I hate to say it but took me 4 years training players to help understand that consistency with complacency and consistency with the right mindset lead to vastly different outcomes.

I trained a U15 player for years. He was a smooth criminal meaning very calm and cool on the ball. However, he lacked urgency and suffered from complacency.

Every session he did just enough to get by. While he was a standout as a sophomore, others were quickly catching up as the year progressed.

After our sessions, I begged and pleaded with him to train on his own and submit his training hw. He always promised to do better.

He always kept showing up but habit, attitude and mindset all stayed the same.

Unfortunately by his senior year, no opportunities.

Done with soccer.

When athletes are young, coasting feels fine.

But the reps they skip, the discomfort they avoid, the drills they phone in, will all compound.

They just missed a chance to get better and i promise someone else out there used their chance to get better.

Don’t let your athlete be that player.

I was the player who wished someone showed how to train.

Coaches would give me vague instructions but there wasn’t a framework.

Now I understand it wasn’t about some one else figuring it out for me but more about having a mindset of getting the most out of each training.

That means preparing for each session, being intentional and present in each drill, and giving it my all every time I step on the floor.

I give this framework(and not a list of drills) out so athletes can know that thoughts and intentions should go into their training session.

If they do that, then they can live with the results of their work.

Number three is the one of the most important things that I want all players to realize… time is short. Make sure to enjoy the season of life you’re in. Share with your player if they need to see it.
