Pure chaos at VIR, but we came out on top! We started P3 and stayed right in the fight until the very end. With just 7 minutes left on the clock, Philip made the ultimate move to take the lead and bring home the victory.
From being 300 points down earlier this year to jumping into the GTD championship lead... what a comeback story. Incredible work by the entire crew today. The push continues! 🚀💨

Long and busy day at VIR 👌🏻

A very close GT3 qualifying, with Russell & Philip putting it on P3 for the race. Mega job and a great place to start from. 🔥

And two hours of flat-out racing for Bryce & Daan in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. Starting from P20 meant plenty of fighting through the field, but a penalty made the comeback even tougher. We kept pushing all the way to the flag, finishing in 18th.

Tomorrow we go again for some IMSA racing. Green light at 12:10 PM 🟢

Practice day in the books here at VIR ✅ Not the easiest conditions out there, but still plenty of useful mileage and good work done by the team.

Now it’s all about putting it together. Quali and IMPC raceday tomorrow 🔥

What a race yesterday…

After the red flag in Qualifying left Bryce starting from P20, the mission was always going to be recovery. He kept it clean, picked off a handful of cars and handed the AMG over in P15.

The crew nailed the pit stop, jumping us up to P6, and once the rain arrived Daan was absolutely on rails. Lap after lap he worked his way through the field and climbed to P2.

Then the race turned. A Full Course Yellow came out right as the second round of stops started. Most of the field had already boxed, leaving us on the wrong side of the strategy. After our stop we found ourselves back outside the top 20.

With just 40 minutes left, plus two more interruptions, Daan dug deep and fought back to P8. Maybe not the finishing position the pace deserved, but a proper damage limitation drive and valuable championship points.

The GT3 crew was right in the mix today in Practice, showing strong opening pace. Qualifying in IMPC was a different story. Just as Bryce was gearing up for another push, a red flag ended the session, leaving no chance to improve… ☹️

Not the grid spot we were looking for, but tomorrow is where it counts. Plenty of racing left 👌🏻

Next stop: Road America! 🇺🇸🏎️💨
