A big thank you to everyone who came out tonight! We had a great turnout and are looking forward to a wonderful year with Pack 0083!

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Robert Macon, a former park ranger and conservation ethics expert, for spending the evening with our Scouts and sharing his knowledge about nature and conservation.

The Scouts also had fun getting creative by making tree faces using clay and natural materials they found around the park. 🌳

Just a reminder that tonight Monday, September 21 at 6:00 PM we meet at
Emmett Kelly Park – Lower Pavilion near the basketball courts.

Since we'll be outside, please have Scouts dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and sunscreen. Comfortable clothes and shoes that can handle a little dirt are recommended. See ya soon!

Our Scouts are selling popcorn to help raise money for Scout dues, supplies, activities, and future trips and adventures! Every purchase helps give our Scouts more opportunities to learn, explore, and make memories together.

We hope everyone has had a great summer! It’s time to get Pack 83 back together and start another year of Cub Scouting.

Our first meeting of the new school year will be Monday, August 31 at 6:00 PM at the Gentry Safe Room. Since the following Monday is Labor Day, we’re treating this as our first September meeting.

We’ll have some fun activities planned, talk about what we have coming up this year, and get everyone back into the swing of things. We hope to see you there! 🌳 ⛺️

Tonight, we celebrated a great year of Scouting with:

• Adventure belt loop awards
• Fun Scout challenges and games
• Paper airplane competitions
• Time to reflect on all the adventures and accomplishments from this past year

While our regular year has wrapped up, we’re still looking forward to some fun summer activities as we begin planning for another exciting year in Scouting. Congrats scouts on your badges!

This is a reminder that our final Pack 83 meeting of the year will be today, Monday 5/18 at 6:00 PM at the Gentry Safe Room. We will still have some fun summer activities though while planning for the next year in Scouting.

At this meeting, Scouts took on a fun, hands-on engineering challenge. They built a project using a limited set of materials, then wrote step-by-step instructions for it. Another Scout then tried to recreate the build using only those directions.

New scouts are always welcome! The next meeting is May 18. See you then 😊
