For the second year in a row, we had the opportunity to meet with the teams at Senator Brian Schatz, Senator Mazie Hirono, and Jill Tokuda’s offices to share the realities of raising a family in Hawaiʻi. We spoke about the importance of affordable, high-quality childcare and the role critical programs like SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF play in helping local families thrive.

A huge mahalo to our incredible liaison, Dani Stamm, whose expertise helped connect policy to the everyday experiences of families across the country. It was inspiring to see how thoughtful legislation can create meaningful change for parents and keiki alike. 💛

What helps:

✨ Tummy time (daily!)
✨ Switching sides during feeds and play
✨ Encouraging your baby to look both ways through play

With early intervention and simple daily changes, most babies make amazing progress.
