Fall Season is off to a good start. It was a slow start but the boys got hot at the right time and finished the tournament strong!!

Championship Rings!

***Game 1 - Loss 2-3 - we had hard contact that didn’t fall and a few base running blunders. Pitching and defense was clean!

Hayes Waller takes home the Heart and Hustle Chain for game 1! He went 3IP, 1H, 2R, 1K and a couple clutch putouts on the mound and had a big hit, going 1-2 with a double.

***Game 2 - Loss 3-11 - we’d like to forget this one. One team got hot and it was not ours. lol

***Game 3 - Win 11-5 - in a rematch of game 2, we jumped out scoring 5 in the first and 5 in the second!!

Aiden Newsom led the way with 2.1 IP, 3H, 4R, and 5Ks on the mound and 1-1 with 2RBI!! Aiden was recognized with the Heart and Hustle Chain!

***Game 4 - Win 10-5 - Championship Win!! Continued the momentum and put up a 5 spot in the first inning, with 2 outs. It was capped by a GRANDSLAM hit to Right Center by Layton Coleman!! Layton was given the Heart and Hustle Award!!

Layton was also recognized by Tournament Director and umpires as Tournament MVP for his play and big hit in the SHIP!!

Happy birthday to the only coach who can turn a 10-minute practice into a 3-hour TED Talk about fundamentals. 😂⚾️

The man showed up dressed like he’s about to lead the Mavericks to the World Series, but judging by that pose, he’s really just waiting for someone to ask:

“Coach, where’s the cooler?”

Got the jersey. Got the hat. Got the bat. Got the sunglasses tan. Got the coach face.

Still hasn’t figured out how to stop yelling “ONE MORE!” when practice was supposed to end 45 minutes ago. 🤣

Happy birthday, Coach! May your players actually listen to you this year—and may the umpires finally realize that you are, in fact, always right. 😂🔥

Now on a serious note, from 9U Five Star ⭐️ to the 11U Mavericks ✈️ he’s been the leader of our future men. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into the boys Coach. Hopefully your birthday is like a 6-4-3 double play, the best!

Your donations keep the cost low for our parents, as well as help us give these boys a World Series experience at the end of spring!!

Last year with your help - we attended the Grand Slam WS in Panama City, Florida, purchased special WS uniforms, trading pins, took them to Wonder Works, and provided them with an experience we hope they always remember!!
