In the heat I started P3 and got caught up behind slower people but managed to get P4. In the feature I started P4 and was struggling to find a good line. I finally started to make something work on the top, and while I was in P7 my motor blew up.

Race day Southern Illinois Raceway

Rough night at the track. I started 4th in my heat race. Felt real fast. Last lap my steering went out. I still finished 2nd. We decided to put the seat in the pink car and start on the back of the feature. The car felt real fast until it didn't. Think we may have broke the motor on that one. Broke 2 cars in one night......rough, rough night.

Started P2 and got spun in the very first corner. I got sent to the rear and started to pick people off on the bottom. Made my way back up to P3. Overall, great night at the track and can’t wait to do it again.

In the heat race, the car felt good and I went p4➡️p5. That locked me into the feature starting p14. I was ripping the top where there was tough racing. In a restart, I went to the bottom and got tangled up with some cars. My brake line got ripped off which caused me to have to pull off.
