August 29th Perris Auto Speedway Race Program Canceled

Perris, California — August 18, 2026 —

Dear Race Teams and Race Fans, For the past thirty years, Perris Auto Speedway has been dedicated to delivering high-quality events. Despite our best efforts to host a historic event this Saturday night featuring the Micro Sprint classes for the first time, a lack of anticipated entries has forced us to cancel the show.

I want to thank the California Lightning Sprints, SoCal Lightning Sprints, Western States Dwarf Cars, and the Southern Nevada Dwarf Cars for their support. I look forward to working with all of these organizations on events for the 2027 season.

For the teams that submitted entry forms and fees, your checks will be returned to you by mail.

Additionally, fans who purchased advance tickets for the event will receive a full refund from tix.com.

Anyone attending the Perris speedway event on the 29th we are being asked to pre enter if you can . Help bring dwarfs back to Perris. This event means a lot to the so cal racers and the dwarfs in general . The facility is top shelf ! Free overnight camping available in the infield where we will all pit on Saturday night . Anyone arriving after 6pm on Friday that needs to camp go to the Perris fairgrounds camping spot ($25 ) outside turn 4 . If before 6pm Friday you will be able to enter the infield and camp for free . Let’s all get those entry’s in asap !

Friday night was full of adrenaline and testosterone but we all survived and John Foster was congratulated by taking the win ! Saturday we all regrouped and put on an exciting race for Gene Winters as Ronnie monster Williams dominated the night ! Monster also was crowned the overall for the weekend with $1000 on top of the nightly awards . Great job to our Dwarf Car family on another successful Gene Winters Memorial weekend .

Congrats to Matthew Carroll on his sweep of the weekend in the sportsman division at Elko’s Summit Raceway Western States Dwarf Car Assoc. Wsdca National #3!!! We’re proud of ya!!!
