🏁 Race Recap – Cook Out Summer Shootout Round 7 | 7/7/26 🏁

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for us yesterday.

After qualifying P1, we were ready to go racing, but after about three pace laps the weather rolled in. We were pulled off the track and instructed to take shelter before conditions got worse, forcing the event to be postponed.

The good news is we'll be back at Charlotte Motor Speedway next week! We'll practice on Monday, then race Tuesday for the Round 7 makeup event that was rained out, followed immediately by the start of Round 8.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support Slick Nick Newsome. We appreciate all the fans, family, sponsors, and our team at JLM Motorsports for their hard work and dedication.
