The support and belief in what we are building—both on and off the mat—has been huge. We truly feel blessed by the people and businesses who have gotten behind NC Legend and the community in Hampstead we are trying to create.
Thursday night, we were packed in all three classes. It was busy, it was loud, and it was exactly what we hoped this place could become. But even with all that going on, we make sure there is space for the younger kids to roll around, play, and simply enjoy being part of the environment while their families and older siblings train.
Sure, it can get noisy. But so can a wrestling match. Our wrestlers still have to focus, listen, and perform.
That is part of what we are building here: not just better wrestlers, but a place where kids can grow, families can feel welcome, and a community can come together. The support we have received is helping make that possible, and we are incredibly grateful.

Did I mention we had 11 awesome coaches and 2 administrative assistants at practice yesterday? That's kinda cool.

What started in a crowded, dirty, lunchroom-sized space has grown into a 5,000+ sq. ft. training center—and this article does an incredible job telling the story of the people who helped make it happen.

NC Legend has never been about one person. It’s about the coaches, families, athletes, and community who have invested their time, energy, and belief into building something special.

And the best part? We’re still growing.

We’re excited to welcome Coach Drew Torza to the NC Legend family. Drew brings a young, energetic approach to the room and is working directly with our wrestlers through private practices designed to take their technique, confidence, and competition level to the next step. 🔥

One goal: Make these kids better—on the mat and in life.

Crest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu played a huge role in the beginning of NC Legend. When we were just getting started and building something from the ground up, Crest gave us a place to t , grow, and create opportunities for our wrestlers. Their willingness to support us when we were just beginning says a lot about the kind of people they are.

Their support, generosity, and belief in what we were trying to build helped lay the foundation for where NC Legend is today. We will always be grateful to Crest for opening their doors, believing in our vision, and showing firsthand the kind of great people and community they represent.
