We started this team with the intention to work towards more representation for women in armored combat. We have had the opportunity to meet great people along this journey that we started, and we want to continue forging our path in a new league. We believe we can better do that within Buhurt International. We want to thank everyone who has given us advice, lent armor, and has offered to help train the members of this team to be better fighters. We can’t wait to make new friends along the way.

Hello,
so the Philadelphia Hellcats has grown as a team over the past few years. We have come together as a team and have decided to go in a different direction. We have joined Buhurt International and we look forward to this new opportunity. We believe that BI fits the goals and culture of the team, and I am excited to see what the future will bring.

🌟 Fighter Spotlight: Remi🌟
Remi is the second official fighter of the Bloodhounds, who earned her tabard back in May 2026. Name a sport and she’s played it- and probably internationally too! It was only natural for Remi to make armored combat her next adventure. Badass rugby player-never ending lore collector- now armored fighter!

Favorite weapon: Sword and board (and a little polearm too)

Walk out song: The Itsy Bitsy Spider
Remi is a big part of the heart on this team. We wouldn’t be where we are today without her, and we are so glad she is a part of not only our team but our community. Thank you Remi: not only for all the work you’ve put into the team but the love you have for us all 🪓

Gabby is one of our newest members and is kicking ass! World’s greatest scrambled egg maker-song writer-protector of butterflies- turned buhurt fighter!

Gabby had her first ever full kit fight this weekend, and is on next to earning her tabard by fighting our team captain. We are so excited to see Gabby in the list soon. Go Gabby!! 🪓

What a wonderful weekend at the bucks county Renaissance Faire. Team captain Jessie Kraft and Remi Coker fought bravely. Two of our newest members Lizmak Kenna and Gabrielle fought for the very first time in full kit and kicked ass. gambeson_juice braved the heat and trained in full kit for about three hours! Also big shout out to Jen Rose for coming out to support us. Stay tuned for more photo dumps 🗡️
