Cheyenne started 6th in the heat and finished 6th. She started 5th in the feature and a caution came out and she restarted 3rd and fell to the rear. She finished 6th out of 6 cars.

Justin worked on the car most of the morning trying to fix the brake drag on Cheyenne's car. It's been an ongoing problem and he was trying to explain to Cheyenne why it's an issue. She gave him the perfect solution...fix it! đŸ˜‚ Great advice lol.

Anyway Cheyenne started 2nd in her heat. Fell to 4th and came back to finish 2nd. That started her 2nd in the feature and finished 2nd out of 8 cars. Definitely a better night!

Last night was the Lebanon 18 at Linda's Speedway. Cheyenne time trialed 19th out of 25. Made a gear change for her qualifier, where she started 7th and finished 6th. She started 17th in the feature. She looked pretty good, was up to 15th and then fell to 20th at one time but finished where she started, 17th out of 25 cars. When she came in her dad discovered the clutch bolt was missing. We figured that was what was slowing the car down at the end of the race. Also found a bent left front radius rod. Again not the greatest results but she doesn't run here often and we brought the car home for the most part in one piece so that's always a win. Thanks so much to Michael Esterly and Jerry Schott for doing this race for the Jr Slingshots.

Cheyenne wanted to show the residents at Heritage Retirement Community what she does at Tiger Rock. She got with her instructor to get a group of students together to do a little demo. They did their form, broke some boards and a couple of the residents even got to break a board. The students did an excellent job and the residents really seemed to enjoy it. Thank you to Heritage Retirement Community for having us and Tiger-Rock Martial Arts of Hagerstown and the students for the demonstration.

Cheyenne started 5th in the heat. She finished 3rd. She had to start 6th because she won last time. She got spun out but she was able to finish 5th out of 7 cars. Not the best night but the car is in one piece. Next up is this Friday at Linda's Speedway.
