Come spend the day at the lakes. π²
Some people will run 5 miles. Some will run 40. Some of the most important people out there won't run a mile.
We're looking for volunteers to help make Triple Lakes happen. Cheer on runners, spend the day outside, meet some good people, and be part of the finish line stories
No trail race experience required. Just bring yourself.

Four down. One to go.
The North Carolina Trail Mega Medal Series is getting close to complete.
Five races. Five medals. One pretty satisfying collection.
Triple Lakes is medal number four, which means we're getting close to seeing the whole thing come together.
Maybe you're collecting all five.
Maybe Triple Lakes is the one you've had circled all year.
Either way, there's something pretty special about seeing these medals together and knowing each one represents a day spent out on the trails.
We'll see you at the lakes on October 24. π²

Road runners, we see you. π
You've been showing up for the road races all year. Now it's time to trade pavement for trees.
Triple Lakes is another chance to put some points on the board for the Club Cup. Bring your crew, chase the standings, and see who can make a move before the season is over.
And once the racing is done, stick around. Set up your tent, cheer for your teammates, grab some food, and spend the day together.
Want a club tent and all the club perks? You need 10+ registered runners by October 9 at 5 PM.
The road race season isn't over. It's just getting a little more wooded. π²

Find Your Distance: Half Marathon
13.1 miles through the woods, around the lakes, and back to the finish.
The Triple Lakes Half Marathon is long enough to feel like an accomplishment, but still leaves plenty of day to enjoy everything else happening at the race.
Settle into the trails. Take your time. Run with a friend. Stop thinking about your watch for a while.
Then come back to the finish line and stay awhile.
If a half marathon is your distance, we'll see you at the lakes.

Course Spotlight: Lake Townsend
Lake Townsend is the kind of trail that makes you want to slow down and look around.
The trail winds through tall pines and hardwoods, with rolling terrain and long stretches of quiet singletrack. It's easy to settle into a rhythm out here, whether you're running your first 5 miles on the trails or you're several hours into a 40-mile day.
For the longer distances, Lake Townsend becomes part of the rhythm of the day. For newer trail runners, it's a chance to get a feel for what makes Triple Lakes different from a road race.
And it's just one of the three lakes you'll experience on October 24.

Three lakes. Miles of singletrack. One medal to remember it by.
Whether you're joining us for the new 5 Mile, the Half Marathon, Marathon, or 40 Mile, this is what will be waiting for you at the finish.
For runners chasing the North Carolina Trail Mega Medal Series, Triple Lakes is stop number four of five. Add it to your collection and get one step closer to completing the full set.
If Triple Lakes is your one trail race this year, this medal tells that story all on its own.
Registration is open. We'll see you on the trails. π²

Every lake has its own personality.
Lake Brandt welcomes you with quiet water, winding singletrack, and stretches of trail where the only sounds are your footsteps and the trees overhead.
It's the kind of trail that reminds you why you fell in love with trail running in the first place. Smooth, runnable, and surrounded by some of the most scenic forest in the Triad.
And it's just the beginning.
Three lakes. One unforgettable day.

Introducing the 5 Mile.
Not everyone wants to spend all day racing. Some people just want a great morning on the trails.
That's why we're introducing the new 5 Mile at Triple Lakes.
It's the same beautiful forest, the same welcoming atmosphere, the same finish line, and the same post-race burger. Just in a distance that's perfect for first-time trail runners, families, road runners looking to try something new, or anyone who wants to be part of the day without committing to the longer miles.
Triple Lakes has always been about spending a fall Saturday outdoors.
Now there's a distance for even more people to join us.
