The Congressional Research Service recently published a report examining the Department of Justice’s proposed process for restoring federal firearm rights to certain individuals who are currently considered “prohibited persons.”

This does NOT mean every prohibited person would automatically regain their firearm rights.

The proposed framework would establish an individualized application and review process, with public-safety considerations, eligibility requirements, waiting periods, and categories of offenses that could make an applicant presumptively ineligible.

We encourage everyone to read the Congressional Research Service report for themselves and stay informed rather than relying solely on headlines or social-media summaries.

We talk a lot about training and equipment—but what about first aid?

If you had limited space and could only carry the most essential first-aid supplies in your range bag, what would make your list?

🩸 Tourniquet?
🩹 Pressure dressing?
🧤 Gloves?
🩸 Hemostatic gauze?
✂️ Trauma shears?
🫁 Chest seals?

👇 DROP YOUR MUST-HAVE ITEM IN THE COMMENTS!

Bonus question: Do you carry a first-aid kit but still need training on how to use what's inside?

💥 DID YOU TRAIN TODAY?

Owning the equipment is one thing. Having the confidence, knowledge, and skills to use it responsibly is another.

Training doesn’t always have to mean spending hours at the range. It can mean reviewing safe handling, practicing situational awareness, working on conflict avoidance, or taking a professional training class.

The goal is simple: keep learning, keep improving, and never become complacent.

So… did you train today? 👇

Tell us what you worked on in the comments!

🧠 MENTAL HEALTH & RESPONSIBLE FIREARM OWNERSHIP

Being responsible isn’t only about knowing how to safely handle a firearm. It’s also about recognizing when stress, depression, anger, grief, or other difficult circumstances may affect our judgment.

If you’re going through a difficult time, there is strength in asking for help. Responsible firearm owners should have a plan for those moments—whether that means creating distance from fi****ms, using secure storage, or asking a trusted person for support.

HEADING TO THE FAIR FOR THE DEMO DERBY? A FEW SELF DEFENSE REMINDERS

Fairs and demolition derbies mean big crowds, long lines, plenty of excitement, and sometimes alcohol. If you choose to legally carry, responsibility comes first.

✅ Know before you go. Check the fairgrounds’ rules, posted restrictions, and applicable laws before arriving.

✅ Keep it secure. Make sure your firearm remains properly secured and under your control.

✅ Alcohol and fi****ms don't mix. If drinking is part of your evening, make a responsible plan that doesn't include carrying.

✅ Avoid unnecessary conflict. Someone bumps into you, cuts in line, or gets heated over a seat? Walking away is usually the best option.

✅ Stay aware of your surroundings. Know where your family is, identify exits, and pay attention to what's happening around you.

✅ Your firearm is a last resort. Carrying doesn't mean looking for trouble—it means accepting an increased responsibility to avoid it whenever possible.

Go enjoy the rides, grab some fair food, watch some cars get smashed, and make it home safely. 🏁

Conflict avoidance first. Use of force last.

Check out this post from Virlee Gunworks about the ruling regarding NFA items and how it applies to us Wisconsinites.

DID THE NFA JUST CHANGE? 👀

Here’s What Suppressor Owners Actually Need to Know.

If you’ve been hearing “suppressors are no longer NFA” today… there’s an important clarification. 👇

A major federal court ruling has taken effect following the expiration of the seven-day stay in Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF.

The ruling challenges the federal NFA registration requirements for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs and certain AOWs after Congress reduced the associated NFA making and transfer tax to $0.

But here’s the important part:

🔹 The $200 tax stamp was already reduced to $0 on January 1, 2026.

🔹 Today’s development is about the NFA registration requirements - including the Form 4 process - not the tax.

🔹 The court’s injunction applies to the plaintiffs and qualifying members/customers covered by the order. It is NOT a blanket nationwide ruling that automatically changes the process for every dealer and every customer.

🔹 State laws still apply.

🔹 Existing NFA requirements and procedures may still apply to transactions outside the scope of the injunction.

So, before you cancel that paperwork or assume your next suppressor purchase works like a standard firearm transfer, talk to us and make sure you understand which rules apply to your specific transaction.

We’re watching the developments closely and will keep our customers updated as the legal landscape becomes clearer.

Bottom line: This is a BIG development - but there’s still plenty to clarify.

Anyone can train when the weather is perfect.

But real confidence comes from being willing to train when conditions aren’t.

Rain. Wind. Cold. Heat.
You don’t always get to choose the conditions you may have to protect yourself in — so why should your training always happen in perfect conditions?

Training in the rain challenges you to:

👉Stay focused when conditions aren't ideal
👉 Adapt when things don't go according to plan
👉 Push through discomfort
👉Build confidence through experience
👉 Be prepared for the unexpected

The goal isn't perfection, but when the conditions aren't perfect, your preparation shouldn't disappear with them.

Train Smart. Stay Safe. Be Prepared.
