The end of year party was yesterday so I guess it’s time for a season recap post!

Finished the season with a 61-5 record outside of duals, won the 10U 71-pound folkstyle, freestyle AND greco state championship, wrestled almost every weekend en route to 16 tournament wins … and most importantly, Coach awarded me the Hardest Worker award - my third time in three seasons with Matpac!

Thank you to all of the Matpac coaches that invested their time and effort into me, thankful for all of the practice partners and opponents that pushed me to get better on the mat and became friends off the mat and thank you to , , Wyatt Hendrickson and for sending me my new good luck charms as fast I needed them! It’s gotta be the shoes!

The work you put in right now is what will show up next year. 💪 Freestyle season is here, and we’re not slowing down. We had 25+ state champs in the room battling on a Sunday afternoon at Dakota United. It’s always good to see that many tough kids pushing each other and raising the level.

Me and my friend Keyshawn Whitehorse (one of the first PBR riders to welcome me behind the chutes and make me want to give bull riding a shot) did NOT BOTH win the biggest championships of our lives last weekend.

Dakota United Session 3 was our deepest room yet — 25+ state champs in the building. Best guys in the state showed up and competed. When the level’s high, everyone rises. Already excited for the next one. Finished it off with a pizza party 🍕
