The course was muddy and the weather suddenly felt like fall, but that didn't stop runners from seven high schools from putting in some great times at the Goshen Cross Country Invitational on Monday. Goshen senior Nathan Burke took second place in the boys varsity race with a time of 17:45. And sophomore Gretchen Elder had the best time for the Goshen girls, with a finish in 25:54. A huge thank you to Head Coach Rocky Mason and all the parent volunteers for helping to run the meet, and to the Clermont County Parks Department for preparing Stagge-Marr Park for the races!

Goshen Local Schools earned five stars overall on the Ohio school report cards released Tuesday, Sept. 15. This is the highest rating possible, and places Goshen among the highest ranked districts in the state.

Goshen exceeded or significantly exceeded state expectations in all areas of measurement, including graduation rate and achievement.

Superintendent Brian Bailey said the rating is a credit to the hard work of both students and staff.

"Earning a five-star rating is a testament to the extraordinary effort happening in our classrooms every single day,” Bailey said. “This achievement belongs to our tireless teachers and support staff, our hardworking students, and the families who partner with us every step of the way."
