We want to wish all of our players, coaches and families a fun and successful start to the season! Play hard, support your teammates, show great sportsmanship and—most importantly—have FUN!

Please remember that not every team has a game scheduled this weekend, so don’t worry if your player isn’t playing yet! Your team’s first game will be here before you know it. 🩶

❤️⚽️ WHEN WE PUT OUT AN SOS…OUR COMMUNITY SHOWED UP! ⚽️❤️

Yesterday, Goshen Youth Soccer put out an SOS asking for help getting our fields mowed and ready for the incoming Fall season. With both of our mowers currently in the shop, we were in a bit of a bind—and honestly weren’t sure how we were going to pull it all together.

And then our community did what it does best. ❤️

The messages, phone calls, texts, offers to help, people reaching out to others on our behalf…we were absolutely blown away. Every single person who reached out, shared our post, offered equipment, made a connection, or was willing to lend a hand—THANK YOU. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community filled with people who are so willing to step up when someone needs help.

And we need to give an extra HUGE thank you to Heisler Park and Joe Hunley. We truly don’t know how to put into words how much we appreciate your kindness, generosity, and willingness to jump in and help us. You were seriously our saviors and lifted a HUGE weight off our shoulders while we tried to figure out how to navigate having both mowers down right as the season is getting started.

It takes a village to make a youth sports organization work—and yesterday was the perfect reminder that we have one heck of a village here in Goshen. ❤️🩶

⚽️🌧️ FIELD UPDATE FOR TONIGHT! 🌧️⚽️

With THREE school open houses happening tonight and the rain we’ve already received—with more storms in the forecast—we’ve decided to CLOSE the Goshen soccer fields for tonight, August 12.

🚫 All practices at the Goshen soccer fields are canceled tonight.

We know everyone is excited to get the season rolling, but between busy school schedules and soggy fields, tonight is a good night to stay home and dry! ❤️🩶
