🚨 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗠, 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗬! 🦅⚾

ALA Gilbert North is proud to announce 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 as our new Head Varsity Baseball Coach and Program Builder!

A few facts about our new Head Varsity Coach:

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿: Starred at Arkansas (SEC Champ/College World Series) before being selected in the 2004 MLB Draft and playing professionally for the Angels and Dodgers.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿: Recipient of the Angels’ Ed Canada Award and CGCC Coyote Award for his exceptional character, teamwork, and work ethic.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗲: He has been pouring into our student-athletes since 2021, developing our players and perfectly embodying our RAISE values.

🎙️𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆: “It is a true blessing to have been a part of the ALA family and this baseball program for years. I am honored to step into this new role. My focus is to continue our successful traditions while relentlessly striving to raise our standards, on the field, in the classroom, and in the community!”

🎙️𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻: “I am thrilled that Coach Day is taking the helm of our baseball program and continuing the foundation that has been laid by Coach Webster and his staff. While his playing and player development background is impressive, what stands out most about him is his ability to mentor young men beyond the game of baseball and use it as a tool for life skills. He embodies our RAISE values at ALA Gilbert North, and I’m excited to see him continuing to move our program forward.”

Get ready to hit the sand, because Girls Beach Volleyball is officially returning to ALA Gilbert North! We are excited to bring this program back and watch our student-athletes dominate on the sand this next school year!
