Lower the bar for absolutely no one. I think more ppl need to stop settling. Fewer dreams come true when you give the bare minimum.
Youāre not too much, youāre on a mission and at TacMobility- we support you.

Iāve seen this so many times. Agency hires me to improve morale, passes me off to an LT that would rather kiss the chiefs ass than serve the employees that hold up the agency.
LT introduces me at briefing and when he leaves the room, people start rolling their eyes and mumbling under their breath.
Their chief is happy but, no one else isā¦
Hard to follow a leader you donāt respect isnāt it?
Thats why we built Leading Resilient Teams: the new course by TacMobility designed to create uniformity, cohesion amongst command staff and a clear direction that the agency believes in.
Comment NEW COURSE to join the wait list for the upcoming virtual module specifically designed for leaders that want a trauma-informed framework for tough conversations, accountability and executing vision.
One of my favorite things about this conversation with Captain was that she shared how her parents raised her to believe every person matters. So whether sheās responding to a homicide or a noise complaint, she approaches every call as if that person is the most important person sheāll meet that day.
That reminded me of something we found in our wellness research.
When we surveyed more thanĀ 800 first responders, 103 reported having no adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) before the age of 18.
Thatās incredible news.
We spend a lot of time talking about trauma, burnout, and the impact this career can have. But itās equally important to recognize that many officers bring healthy relationships, secure attachments, empathy, and strong values into this professionāand those experiences shape the way they serve their communities.
Officers like Heather are proof that compassion and professionalism can exist together. Every call may not be life-changing to the officer, but it might be to the person who picked up the phone.

The old āIām just talking to herā phase.
ER nurse, dispatcherā¦someone who simply showed up at the exact moment life felt lonely, chaotic, or overwhelming.
Hereās something to consider:
When your nervous system is running on chronic stress, your brain starts chasing relief. If you donāt intentionally build healthy coping skills, youāll naturally look for somethingāor someoneāto give you a temporary escape.
Resilience helps create enough capacity that your decisions come from intention instead of overwhelm or resignation or burnout.
Comment TAC20 and Iāll send you the FREE 20-Day Nervous System Reset packed with practical daily habits to build positive coping skills instead of chasing temporary relief.
Disconnection rarely happens overnight.
When life gets busy, shift work takes over, stress goes unspoken, and two people slowly stop being curious about each other, disconnecting is a natural occurrence.
The strongest police relationships Iāve seen are built when both people keep coming back to intentional conversations and quality time.
Talk about what you want from your relationship, whatās changed recently, and about any trauma thatās resurfaced.
And in between those conversations, slow down.
Look at your partner when they speak. Notice their eyes. Pay attention to the thoughtful things they do. Put the phone down. Be present.
The only way to reconnect... is to connect.

Pain doesnāt always mean that muscle is the problem.
When youāve spent hours sitting in a patrol car with rifle plates, your body adapts. Some muscles get locked short, others become weak, and the muscles that are screaming are often just working overtime to compensate.
Thatās where LSR comes in:
(L)engthen the muscles that have become stiff from posture and gear.
(S)trengthen the muscles that stopped doing their job.
(R)elax the muscles that have been carrying everyone elseās workload.
Chasing symptoms is a loaing game friends.
Comment MEMBER to join the TacMobility Wellness Academy and start changing the system that created them. Get guided recovery sessions, mobility routines, breathwork, and practical resilience training that helps you build a body that can handle the jobāwithout feeling broken after every shift.
The people responsible for improving wellness are often given the fewest resources to do it.
Passion will get a program started
Systems, funding, and leadership support are what keep it alive.
Thatās why the Advanced Peer Support Playbook isnāt just about supporting peers. Itās about building a program thatās sustainable, earns trust, and gives you practical tools you can actually implementāwithout having to reinvent the wheel.
