Practicing your sport is sport specific training. All athletes need a foundation on basic principles to build capacity and strength to be resilient in their perspective sport. Ground forces are just that which is why we assess movement, teach ankle mobility and function, why we move weight with intent, why we jump, sprint, accelerate.
