Our XC runners did an amazing job tonight in the conference “SuperDuals”. Our young team keeps improving and working hard. The girls took 4th place and the guys took 6th. Placers tonight were Emerson Sewelin (4th place) and Walden Sewelin 29th. The girls placing were Kaidance Green in 20th and Emma Feller in 23rd. Athletes were treated to an always healthy McDonald’s meal after the meet, such a fun group!!!

Tonight the GHS XC teams, led by the famous (or possibly infamous) “GINGER Bread Man” will take part in the NECC SuperDuals at West Noble high school. Girls race begins at 6:00 with the guys starting at approximately 6:40.

When there are almost 30 schools at the XC meet you go to (who all have their tents up) and you leave it up to your team whether or not they want to set up the team tent, “Regretting Life Decisions…” 🤣🤣🤣

Both GHS XC Teams competed in the Manchester Invite this morning and continued to show huge improvement! With over 28 schools represented, this race had many of the best runners in NE Indiana and the Railroaders competed. Once again, Kaidance Green and Emerson Sewelin led the way for each team but EVERY runner gave their best effort. We had 5 all time PR’s and 1 (Season) PR. These athletes were Layla Ahdel, Emerlynn Toney, Lucy Oyer, Phoebe Relue, Kallie Klenke, and Walden Sewelin. Very proud of all of our athletes,

Emerson set a new personal best in the 5K, running a time of 17:36 and placing 9th out of over 100 runners at this past Saturday’s Prairie Heights Invitational!
