The Goalkeeper U

The Goalkeeper U. We are more than just another coach for your athlete. We are a partner on their developmental path, offering not only on field classrooms, but video analysis, both youth and college placement services, and support 365 days a year for any current, future or former student of ours!

Our Director is amongst the highest licensed and most experienced coaches in the area, having led more than 10,000 classes over the past 2+ decades; providing our goalkeepers with five levels of ultra-refined, effective curriculum based on age and experience to grow appropriately in every aspect of the position, technically, tactically and psychologically. And because our methodology is progressive, each week of classrooms builds upon the last with a different topic, delivering a unique ‘match-real’ intensity and standard that separates our environment from the most.

Since 2020, The GKU has helped 38 of our student athletes achieve their goals of playing college soccer, more so than any other GK specific academy in DFW. Our ‘GKU College Compass’ program for athletes U16+ provides athletes with connections to local ECNL and MLS NEXT programs (we’ve had 60+ students during this span participate at these levels), as well as as guides them in the recruitment process with mentorship from current college and pro GKs, assistance in building profiles, communications with coaches.

Above all, we are passionate about what we do. We love our kids. We are a GK Family!

At The Goalkeeper U, we’ve been doing this for a looong time now. While there are certainly some benefits to them (free, fitness oriented, high rep), in the past 20 years I’ve yet to see a club-based GK ‘training’ session that is even close to as valuable to a young GK as our most mindless/fitness oriented class. There is so much more out there folks … Do what’s best for your young athlete!

GK Families -- As we typically do this time of year, we're once again offering options for those of you that homeschool or have 'off campus PE' for your athletes. If so, you can take advantage of smaller classes, lower costs and cooler weather, all in one!

This school year I'm offering options on Wednesday and/or Thursday mornings 930-1030am at Frisco Family YMCA. You're certainly free to select both or even combo one with an evening small group class as I offer discounts for multiple enrollments.
