There are always Bright Stars even when the team outcome was not what you hoped on Sunday. The ladies made a bunch of great plays and the pitchers commanded the mound. They all had heart and determination together to the the end but one young lady Shined the Brightest .

Leylani Cuellar had patience at the plate with 3 walks 1 hit and only 1 strike out. She caused havoc leading the team with stolen bases including stealing "2 bases" on one pass ball. Defensively she had 4 put outs and a 1.000 FPCT.

Stars would like to say thank you to Coastal Breeze for hosting our 3 game scrimmage this last weekend. There was a bunch of great athletes on the field together. We changed up the defense and the offense trying new things but one thing was constant our bats were hot and our pitchers were steady!

Last weekend we played 8 games in 3 days. One day we were at the field for over 12 hours. Days like that are hard on all the girls but especially hard on catchers!. Mackenzie Biles was our Shine Bright Player of the weekend for many reasons! She not only caught 14 innings in the heat but she did it with a smile on her face. She had an amazing weekend at and behind the plate, all while being a shining light for her teammates. Keep Shining Bright Mackenzie Biles #44
